The VFW renders service to disabled and needy veterans...and their dependents. Each year this service obtains millions of dollars in benefits for veterans by processing their claims before the Veterans Administration. The VFW has been at the forefront of every major veterans issue for 106 years. Some of these are the GI Bill, GI Home Loans, Veterans Employment Preference, adequate and accessible VA Health Care and compensation benefits for our disabled veterans.

During calendar year 2006 VFW Post 9972 has:

	Provided assistance valued at over $12,000 to hundreds of veterans or families of veterans in need
	Provided contributions valued at over $60,000 to a wide variety of community service projects.
	Provided Color/Honor Guards who participated in over fifty events including parades, community functions, and funerals.
	Provided over 3,500 volunteers who contributed over 12,000 volunteer man hours on more than 4,400 various service projects.

Please maintain your continued membership and be a part of the challenge. You may renew your annual membership for only $30.00.

You may still pay your annual dues directly to our Post if you wish. Either via mail or by dropping it off at the Post Home.
